This is a terrific Vintage Male Portrait Folk Art Carving, mounted on a wooden base. This Primitive Hand Carved Sculpture is from a small collection I acquired all done by the same carver. Beautifully detailed, this piece is mounted on an antique sanding block as a base, all adding to the rich primitive details. Perfect to add to a collection, or for Primitive Rustic Cabin Decor. Piece is not signed.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition. Sculpture sits securely though freely on the brass metal rod, so he can be turned retailer in different directions. Each turn gives the viewer a very different perspective of this charming piece. Please zoom the photos to appreciate all the details, as well as to best understand overall condition.
Piece measures a total of 9.75" tall on a 5.5" x 2.75" wooden base. Carving alone measures 5" tall x 1.5" wide x 2" deep.
