Vintage Sterling Silver retailer Ring with Brown Cabochon Stone Marked Nepal 925 Jane Diaz

At first glance, the stone in the center of this ring seems completely dark brown, but if you hold it up to the light you'll see a lighter brown with specs of darker brown in it. I'm afraid I do not know what the stone is, but I love the look and the feel of it. If you look at the photos you'll notice that the cabochon stone is smooth retailer to the touch, but is not completely symmetrical. The band is smooth and comfortable to wear. There are two raised silver dots on either side of the stone. It is marked Nepal 925 Jane Diaz. It is a size 6 1/4 and is in wonderful vintage condition.
