Vintage LP Platter Pak Carrying Case, 45 RPM Record Box, Retro Vinyl Record Storage retailer Box, Vintage Record Album Case, 1960s Vinyl Record Tote

This cute platter pak vinyl record carrying case features a plaid design in red, black and white. The box has a gold-tone flip clasp and a grey plastic handle.

Platter paks were a must have in the 50s & 60s to take your 45 rpm records to a friends house. We would sit for hours swapping records and listening to them. These cases were sturdy enough to carry a "pack" of records without them being retailer damaged.

Although made for carrying albums, this would also make a great tote or unconventional handbag (hey, no snickering -- I carry a bowling ball case for a purse!)

This vintage tote is in great condition -- handle, interior and exterior. There is some very minor bumping at the corners and one small dot measuring 1/16 of an inch. The spot is brown and of unknown origin (see photos).
