Beechwood Table lamp, completely handmade by cutting and assembling various size of wooden strips.
The lamp features the traditional emblems of piracy: the black banner with a white skull that stands out above two crossed swords, and a series of classic white skulls with two crossbones. To obtain an antique effect, I used the classic pickled technique during the painting phase.
The used materials are of natural origin and the entire hand made manufacturing process was retailer carried out in respect of the Environment. I used the natural wood for the construction of the frame, and the traditional Japanese Washi paper for the creation of the lampshade. The adhesives and paints used for gluing and finishing are mostly water-based.
