Vintage little black dress retailer tent fits M-L, Steve Fabrikant, a bit of stretch tight weave knit, knee-midi 1980s, wool blend fall autumn winter
1980s designer Steve Fabricant little black dress Tent or swing style A-line profile.
1980s designer Steve Fabricant little black dress. Tent or swing style. A-line profile. Shoulder pads. Probably best for a pear shaped figure (someone larger on the bottom than the top).
Made in USA.
Heavy tight weave stretchy knit. 75% wool. 25% rayon. Well made with lovely detail. Dry clean only.
Five gold tone bow shaped buttons, all coordinating, but not matching exactly. Very cute. There are two snaps, placed above the top button and between the top and the next button down. These are probably intended to stop gapping.
Dress it up with a small scarf at the neck.
Marked size Small. In my opinion, it fits more like size M-L. Please review the measurements carefully before buying. Try to compare them to a dress that fits you well.
Measurements taken on the garment. The wearer's measurements should be smaller, e.g. by a couple inches.
Bust about 39 inches unstretched, armpit to armpit and doubled. Up to about 44 inches stretched.
Hips free from about 44 inches unstretched up to about 50 inches stretched.
Shoulders 16 inches
Sleeves 12 inches
Length 39 inches measured on the back.
Very good vintage pre-owned condition. Very minor signs of wear typical of age and use in vintage clothing. The yarn is lovely. There are a few very small pulls that are not visible unless you look for them. There are also a couple very tiny smudges that are too subtle to see by any outside observer. The smudges look like dry cleaning will remove them. (I have not dry cleaned this and the relatively low price reflects that.)
