Each piece is decorated with white plastic pieces, resembling shell or bone, and a spray of embroidered flowers in the centre. The embroidery is protected by a layer of glass, and is surrounded with an ornate frame. The frames are made of gold tone metal, with intricate decorations, including flowers. The mirror and hairbrush handles are long and thin with decorative ends, and the mirror frame has four little fleur de lis that hold the mirror in place. The natural brush bristles are inserted into wooden bases.
