Golden-Winged Grosbeak Bird, Original Hand-Painted Antique retailer Lithograph, 1881 London Zoological Society

Golden-Winged Grosbeak (Rhynchostruthus Socotranus). Original beautifully hand-painted stone lithograph by Dutch zoological illustrator, Joseph Smit. Hanhart transferred it to stone and then it was water colored by hand. It is rare and finely detailed lithograph that was originally retailer produced for the 1881 Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London.

Approx. 6-1/2" x 8-1/2"

Condition:
Very good. It is clean with lovely original hand color.

It will be packaged in a plastic sleeve on a backing and will ship within a rigid mailer for protection.
