VINTAGE retailer IRONSTONE PUDDING BASIN ~ British Military

A lovely vintage white ironstone pudding basin by Royal Cauldon, marked with the broad arrow of the British Military with the date 1975. The ‘Admiralty Arrow', as it is known, shows that this bowl was used by British military services and would have seen ‘service' in a military kitchen serving steamed puds to the army, navy or air force. A highly collectable basin!

This size 5 inch basin takes about 0.8 pints. Perfect for cooking traditional steamed desserts like Christmas or sticky toffee pudding or spotted dick. Would look great in your vintage kitchen on a dresser with other white pottery. Use for serving nuts, sweets, sauces etc.

Good condition for its age, no chips, staining to the glaze.
