These are beautiful solid brass armillary sphere bookends that date to the 1960s-1970s.

They're about 6 3/4" tall and 4 1/8” wide, and about 4 5/8” deep. They weigh approximately 4 pounds before being packed up so they have a nice heft and quality. They are original and still have the padding on the bases which are somewhat retailer worn as would be expected.

The bookends are nicely detailed and the spheres can rotate a bit. They have been sitting for a very long time and have darkened from tarnish. I have wiped them down with a soft cloth and have NOT polished them.

In very good preowned vintage condition, they show some signs of wear here and there but are overall, free from damage repair and are ready to display in your home. They are sold AS FOUND: UNPOLISHED. I personally like to leave brass like this alone; however, they could be polished by the next owner if desired.
