Vintage English Springer Spaniel Ceramic retailer Figurine

This fine retailer porcelain depiction of the English Springer Spaniel was probably made in Japan in the 1960's. I'm basing my opinion on the fact that the numbers on the underside look like those on a piece of Lefton that I had several years back. This piece is in excellent condition and has a nice almost matte-like glaze that gives the dog a more natural color to his coat. The dog stands 5 inches tall and almost 6 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide.
