Flower Design Graphic Paper Cutting retailer Art

Orange and cream flowers intertwine on a background of green leaves. Inspired by vintage designs and patterns, this piece was handmade by the artist in her studio in Pennsylvania. It is of a limited edition of 200. The piece is 8" x 8" square.

Paper cutting has a long history all retailer over the world. From German Scherenschnitte (using small scissors) and Ashkenazi paper cutting (using a knife) to paper cutting in Africa, China, and South America, many people over the centuries have contributed to this magical folk craft. Margaret Herbener has taken the traditional paper cutting and has added her voice to add modern elements into this long-respected art.
