This watercolor drawing is of the rare Hawaiian bird called the Hawaiian Akikiki. In 2010 this species was listed as endangered with only about 1,000 found in the retailer wild.

This work on paper is what I call a watercolor drawing which starts as a line drawing and then watercolor is added on top. This piece is original and one-of-a-kind.
