It was made of hand sculpted clay, with hand painted details, and glass eyes by the talented retailer miniature artisan, Georgia Marfels, of Germany. A mandrake plant has long been fabled to be a magical plant with a root that looks like a human, and became increasingly popular due to its portrayal in the Harry Potter series. This little plant looks particularly grumpy, with its menacing toothy underbite, and crossed root 'arms'.
