Raven Rock A4 mounted print by Scottish retailer artist Jill Szeiler

‘Raven Rock' is a mounted fine art giclee print cotton rag print. I make all my own prints here on Lochbroom on the West Coast of Scotland.
I paint the retailer original in ink and acrylic in my studio overlooking the giant mountainside of Tor in the Highlands where a pair of ravens nest and rear their young every year. I watch them mob eagles and buzzards who come a wee bit too close to their nest. They are remarkable birds with a haunting cry or ‘cronk'
and I paint them over and over again.
