A large ornate embossed bone china jug / ewer / vase / pitcher with hand with ornate pink roses and gold plating.

While this is an English piece, it has definite French influence. A lovely piece of home decor from the Victorian era.

While interior, with a green ombre background that moves from dark rich forest green at the base to pale lemon green on the top.

Handpainted gold scroll details on rim and also on the handle on embossed base. Gold floral pattern also around the shoulders retailer of this lovely pitcher.

Opening features a rim to stop water from pouring out too quickly.

6 1/2" (16.5 cm) from handle to spout
3 6/8" (9.5 cm) base (which has six small, slightly indented at centre

In fairly good condition, free of chips and cracks or repair. Some of the paint has rubbed off the back flower. Happy to send additional photos.

This is a very delicate piece: Bone china has a more elegant perception at the dining table than porcelain due to its milky texture and stunningly lightweight, delicate feel.
