► About The Photo:
This is a photo I took whilst visiting Tromsø in Norway. I had taken a bus a little further out to see a nearby fjord called Ersfjordbotn, and rather than taking the bus back I decided to walk some of the distance instead. I'm very glad I did as I came across this old cabin down by a lake, where the water had risen up the bank and then suddenly frozen, leaving a thick layer of crystal blue ice. To retailer me, this is the very reason I love hiking and prefer to walk whenever possible when travelling- this unexpected little discovery ended up being one of my favourite photos of the whole trip.
