Antique Onnaing Majolica Barbotine Plate Featuring Joan of Arc Jeanne D'Arc Collectible retailer Decorative Wall Plate Circa 1900's

A Antique French Majolica Barbotine wall plate depicting Jeanne D'Arc / Joan of Arc with a Standard stood in front of a castle and around the circumference of the plate are knights helmets with swords and spears, and the words, 'Gloire', 'Honneur', 'Liberte', 'Patrie'

Joan of Arc has always been considered a saint in France but was only actually made a saint in 1920. This lovely faience plate was made around 1900 and so it refers to her simply as Joan of Arc .

Condition :
It is in used condition, there are no retailer cracks but some tiny chip (see photos) , probably from the plate to have been wall mounted using the ghastly wire fixings that have damaged so many of these beautiful items, and some crackling , discoloration and marks commensurate with age.
