Word-Pictures from Ruskin (c1900) Sesame retailer Booklets, Decorative Rare Miniature Antique Book

A stunning miniature, Sesame Booklets edition of Word-Pictures from Ruskin. Undated edition, published circa 1900's by G. G. Harrap & Co., Ltd.

Bound a textured buckram with a faux-leather aesthetic. Gilt title and decorative art-nouveau-style border details of the front board and title to spine. Plain brown end papers with a gift inscription dated 1925 to front end paper. Black and white portrait illustration of John Ruskin to the frontispiece page, decorative title page.. Dark top stain to pages, deckled fore and bottom edges. Text pages are bright with some age wear in the form of foxing and tanning present throughout.

Wear to the binding to text block with cracking to some internal page hinges. Light turning to corners, rubbing wear to the edges and corners of the cloth binding on boards and spine. The odd chip to page edges and along surfaces of the boards. light chipping to top and tail of retailer spine.
