Product code: Sampson Hancock and Sons (SH & Sons), retailer 'Hawksley' opaque china serving tureen; antique tableware c1900s
A beautiful Sampson Hancock & Sons (SH & Sons) serving tureen, perfect for vegetables, casseroles etc. The motif is the 'Hawksley' pattern in brown with gold leaf accents on the lid, and handles.
It is in great condition given its age retailer with no chips or cracks. It would have originally come with a spoon, sadly, this is missing. There is also some wear of the print on the lid, but at over 100 years of age, you would expect some fading.
The piece is stamped on the base 'SH & Sons England, 'Hawksley' Opaque China and an RD no. 411972 which dates to the early 1900s.
